As we bust into 2012 and find ourselves at the end of a long journey. We peek into the future and see that the quality of gamers we've maintained is at a level that will only grow into the future. The smaller more PvP based community we have been building upon has been building itself as our allies, & friends grow around us also. Our goals this year have been clear. To keep on the course we are headed as a Hardcore/Casual PvP community of gamers who like the "personal touch" of things. Its nice to just stay small and with some key members returning our future looks even brighter. I wish to thank everyone for their hardcore and dedication to keep this community strong and active.
Our Plans for 2012? As of right now we don't focus on RAID based games. Which IMHO has strengthened the fact that we don't fail at what we do as often, or have any social drama (something we split off from in August 2011). SWTOR has proven that it could have a promising future in PvP, but as of right now its stuck at just 1 planet (open world), and 3 warzones. Obviously wasn't exactly what we wanted in a PvP game, so its been a little slow for us to care a great deal about PvP politics or anything in-depth. So we've been casually working towards Battlemaster, the select few of us that don't roll alts non-stop, hehe. Recruiting has been slow as there has been a huge drop off of members in SWTOR due to the lack of content, PvP wise. The pointlessness of the open world PvP outside of Ilum has been a question or debate of weather its worth griefing people or not, lol. But overall SWTOR continues to be a lot more fun than RIFT in PvP. The game promises to expand as time goes on and is worth staying invested into as we grow more and more. Our main focus this year will be a couple of games. The only game I'll announce that has been a topic of discussion is Guild Wars 2. A truly PvP centric game which has a lot of promise. Recruiting at many points has come to a standstill, as we don't really need more members to reach our goals we've decided in many ways that its ok to open the doors and just filter out the idiots. Unlike the drama that unfolded last year, stupidity and moronic behavior doesn't have a place in this guild, NO MATTER YOUR DEDICATION. When I first created Wolves of War it was based on unity through friendship, which turned into a talk of a "round table." Which that "round table" was just me saying I'm "King Arthur" follow me my fellow knights and we will conquer. I think the stupidity hit a all new high when people couldn't grasp that simple concept. Money, and time wasted, turns into a headache. So to bring this to a conclusion. Wolves of War will continue to grow and evolve into what it wanted to be at the start. A small group of 50 or less gamers who focus on PvP.
