Chicago Datacenter Relocation

Feb 14, 2013 - 11:58am EST
We are currently prepping for a Datacenter Relocation in Chicago. This move will take place on Tuesday, February 26th 2013.

We are expecting up to 24 hours of downtime as we pack up and move the hardware to the new location. We do expect that some services will start to come online Tuesday evening as things are racked and powered up, but please be prepared for a longer downtime, as it will simply depend on how things progress on site.

A credit will be given for 1 day for everyone affected automatically.

This new location will improve our overall network performance and ability to expand going forward. IPs and Data will remain intact, but there is always the possibility of a piece of hardware failing on the move, so please make a backup of your data if you are concerned. Voice server data is backed up automatically, so that will not be an issue.

We will update this service alert just prior to the work being started, and once again when work is completed.

The Wait For DayZ Stand Alone
Wolves of War News - Community Updates

So there isn't anything pretty much worth investing into other than a few coop games we've been just gathering together and kicking some butt in. As of right now the DayZ stand alone has been pushed back for a little while. Its original release date was December or "by the end of the year." This is currently the only game targeted by our community as we brush up our FPS skills in the mean time.

Wolves of War vent has always been a late night gaming crew, after a long day have a couple beers drop in and hang out. We've just been doing pick up games, and recruitment has basically came to a halt due to our (or my) activity. I'm glad everyone enjoyed their presents, we'll def throw a summer party also when steam has a lot going on. I know a lot of those 4 packs I handed out we still need to get around playing. So heads up in the coming weeks, as life returns to normal and we wait for our main game, DayZ.
